Now Income tax filling, other formalities and communication with CPC are largely depends through on line mode. A separate chapter is allotted for common on line practice. The objective of this book is to guide the common tax payers in easy understanding the procedure of all Income tax matter in a simplified form.
When this third edition is published on the basis of Finance Act, 2020 then we are spending our time with a great pandemic situation. The Novel Corona virus (COVID-19) has been declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on 11 th March, 2020 and its rapid spread is causing severe economic disruption. To contain the spread of COVID 19, India is in lockdown mode from 24 th March, 2020 like many other countries and this has been impacting individual taxpayers. In response, the Government of India has come to the rescue of taxpayers by providing various relief measures. These relief provisions are given in the book.
In Finance Act, 2020, the Government of India provides a new tax regime along with the old tax regime for the individual tax payers and give an opportunity to calculate his/her tax in any of the tax regime which he/she think best for the financial year 2020-21. For such a separate Chapter is given (Chapter 12) with calculation of tax in both regime. Hope such readers, on whose demand this book is written, will be pleased and give their valuable advice as usual.
My aim will be rewarded if the book is proved to be useful to the readers for whom it is meant.
