Some of the Chapters require a special mention. The Chapter on Agreements is very comprehensive covering Agency, Brokerage and underwriting, Building and Engineering, Copyright, Advertisement, Labour, Service and Miscellaneous Agreements. All the banking forms, documents relating to banking and negotiable instruments have been given followed a little later by a very detailed and exhaustive chapter on company forms and documents. The topics of lease, lease financing, pledge, mortgage, hypothecation, charge and other security documents have been given due consideration. Not to be left behind are the chapters on partnerships and sale of properties. The laws applicable and new precedents relating to purchase of flats in bulk on package deal basis, purchase of apartments and flats in multistoried buildings are discussed at length. A new Chapter has been introduced on RERA.

All the Chapters contain the related laws concerning the deed and documents, so that the draftsman need not consult another text book on the subject, while drafting the deed or document. The Precedents are preceded by a Checklist that provides in a nutshell the legal requirements of the relevant deed so that the practitioner may ensure their compliance. The stamp duty required and whether the deed is to be registered or not has also been indicated in each chapter. The book is based on the latest statute and case-law. As the practice of giving side headings to the documents has developed, the author have given side headings in all the precedents. The side headings are very convenient for locating the required term in the big documents.
