Handbook on Labour Wage Code, is a section-wise analysis of all the provisions of the Code on Wages, 2019 in comparison to the relevant sections of the Payment of Wages Act, 1936, the Minimum Wages Act, 1948, the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965, and the Equal Remuneration Act, 1976.
The book is divided into 9 chapters with each chapter discussing the new provisions and comparing the old provisions from the relevant Acts along with case law to further explain the provisions. At the end of the chapters, relevant provisions of the Code on Wages (Central) Rules, 2020 (Draft) are reproduced.
Comparison between Code on Wages (Central) Rules, 2020 (Draft) and Minimum Wages (Central) Rules, 1950 and FAQs on Payment of Wages provisions under the New Code are also made part of this book.
