The present book aims to provide for comprehensive analysis of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 in three formats. Firstly, in Part-1 it presents the guidance notes on the various aspects of the provisions of the Act, which are divided topic-wise. Secondly, in Part- 2, a detailed commentary has been presented section-wise together with 8 Preface sub-section wise analysis and incorporation of Central Rules wherever applicable. Thirdly, in Part-3 frequently asked questions have been presented to provide answers to the queries that may arise in the minds of the readers about various provisions of the Act. In addition to this, in the beginning of the book, tabular information has also been provided to work as Ready Referencer. At the end the relevant texts of the State Rules have been appended for easy access by the readers. The author has also endeavoured to provide case laws, where ever relevant and available, although the present Act is a maiden statute in this field.
