About Book:

There aren't many good books on Company Law that cater to the needs and requirements of business school and university students. A wide range of other readers may also find the book of use. The primary goal of this book is to present Company Law in a manner that is easy to understand, accurate, and up-to-date. Wherever possible, court interpretations and case laws have been used to support the requirements, ensuring that the subject is easily understood and clear. Like many other law text books, the focal point of this book is not on explaining Company Law but helping students to understand why the law is so?

The comprehensive overview of Company Law in this book takes account of scores of amendments and incorporates the major changes introduced by the Companies Act, 2013, and amendments made in the subsequent years. In exercise of the powers conferred under section 469 of the Companies Act, 2013, the Central Government has issued a set of rules for carrying out the provisions of this Act. This book also includes the notified rules, which were announced between 2014 and 2023.

A separate chapter has been added on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 that includes the changes made to the IBC in the years that followed.
